constructed for drivers looking for serious weight reduction. The Mulsanne C
seat weighs just 2.4kg. That isn’t a typo – the Mulsanne C really does weigh
less than many computer laptops. The standard Lotus Elise S1 seats are approximately
10kg each, the V6 Exige seats weigh considerably more and a single seat in the
Emira is over 25kg alone. Fit a pair of Mulsanne C seats in an Emira and you could

Whilst this will be a wing that will have universal fitment, we will be designing a kit and mounts specially for the new Lotus Emira. Reverie have just carefully fabricated a 310mm carbon fibre clear coated low drag adjutable tailgate mounted rear wing and custom rear multi element rear carbon fibre diffuser for this Scirocco GT24 trackday car. The car has had a lot of custom upgrades and features c/fibre wide arches and a big front spoiler / splitter with 10x18" wheels and trackday tryes etc etc. <br />

We have just helped the customer with his quest for a rear diffuser and rear wing to finish it all off. All custom made and fitted at Reverie.<br />

Recently a customer purchased an Eclipse 315 Carbon Fibre steering wheel from us for use in his road legal track car. He explains his project here;</div>

Previously repaired by another firm not to the customers satisfaction, we took on the job of stripping off the black pigmented clear coat and then carefully sanding the recessed area to lay a new pre-preg layer of low temperature SHD LTC210 2x2 twill carbon into, carefully exactly matching the weave. Due to the backing structures on the door card we locally vacuum bagged, not complete envelope bagging and autoclave cured overnight 65’c 9 hours. We then sanded the whole repair and applied several layers of clear primer paint, air dryed, baked and then sanded and applied 4 layers of Acrylic scratch resistant clear coat, before baking and then flatting and polishing to a high standard.</div>

The Morgan Plus 4 can get a performance boost with our bespoke Carbon Fibre air box induction kit which is designed to increase the flow of cold, clean, induced air to the engine, improving performance and throttle response and reducing drive-by induction noise. recent times that the rear wings on race cars look slightly different. The
large wings are, on an increasing number of designs, mounted from the top of
the wing (the pressure side) as opposed to the traditional way of mounting on

Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis or CFD as you’ve
probably heard of it, <a href="https://www.symscape.com/blog/cfd-study-comparing-racecar-wing-mounts">has
found that mounting a rear wing from the top surface can potentially produce
more downforce</a> as the lower surface is free from obstruction – and
importantly flow separation as flow separation causes an undesirable reduction
in downforce. There is a small penalty in excess drag and weight, however we have
kept our design as thin and streamlined as possible to help overcome this.<o:p></o:p></div>

The Caterham Seven CSR is the latest Caterham Seven from
Caterham cars, launched back in 2005 to replace the venerable SV. Whilst the
CSR retains the classic Caterham look, it spent three years in development and
was significantly revised with modifications to the suspension, aerodynamics
and interior. The engine for the CSR is an all alloy Cosworth-tuned 2.3 Ford Duratech
unit, which replaced the K-Series engine (which the car was originally designed
with), and bought with it an increase in power of up to 260bhp. Whilst a fine
engine mated to a fine chassis can bring spectacular results, problems can
occur when a powerful engine is crammed into a tight engine bay.<o:p></o:p></div>

Recently, a CSR 260 owner contacted us because he found that
with the existing standard setup on his 260, engine bay intake temperatures
were undesirably hot. We discussed the options and decided to adapt our own
Zolder 150 LH air box with 30mm deep PX600 back plate and install it to his
car. This air box was selected by our customer to reduce intake temperatures
from a soaring 49<sup>0</sup>c and also produced a higher intake pressure for
more power through ram-air. <o:p></o:p></div>

10 years ago, Subaru pulled out of the World Rally
Championship for good after sliding down the performance table and succumbing
to the ’08 economic meltdown. It was a sad end to what had been a great decade
for the team and rally spectators. Colin McRae started his WRC career with
Subaru, winning the WRC in 1995 and Petter Solberg joined in 2000 eventually
winning the 2003 WRC – beating the legendary Sebastian Loeb. <o:p></o:p></div>

The car at the heart of all of this was the Impreza, launched
in 1993, that would quickly put Subaru on the map. The Impreza’s famous dark
blue paint with lime yellow decals were instantly recognisable tearing through muddy
rally stages and Subaru capitalised on this by launching a host of
different<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>versions including the STi and
Turbo models to capture the rally cars spirit. The Impreza and its rally wins
alone helped boost sales for the manufacture, who up until the Impreza’s launch
was only known in the farming community. The Impreza underwent a controversial
refresh in 2000 which saw the introduction of the infamous ‘bug’ headlights; it
polarized opinion so much that just 3 years later the Impreza was refreshed
again, with toned down styling. By 2008 the Impreza range diversified, the classic
saloon style was dropped and many were surprised that the Impreza became a
conventional looking hatchback. These later models didn’t enjoy quite the same
following as the earlier models and the Impreza name disappeared from the UK
market in 2013 due to poor Sterling/Yen exchange rates. Earlier this year, the
Impreza was bought back – along with its familiar saloon shape, although
whether it captures the public’s imagination like the early models in what is
now a very different market, remains to be seen.<o:p></o:p></div>

While the glory days of the rally championships may be long
gone for Subaru, those early cars still live on <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and have become classics in their own right.
With their ready ability to be modified (and a dedicated community to support
it) the Impreza is a staple at car shows across the world and has a strong
following which will live on for a long time.<o:p></o:p></div>

Recently, a second generation Impreza (00 – 07) race car was bought
to us to have fitted one of our 310mm chord high-downforce Carbon Fibre wings. The wing is designed using in-house CFD software to significantly increase down force at the rear,
and, being autoclaved from Carbon Fibre with clever internal stringers, weighs next to nothing. The wing sits atop CNC machined Alloy wing mounts,
which are powder coated in satin black for a slick finish and also feature an array
of mounting holes allowing you to finely adjust the wing’s angle of attack (AoA) to get a nice aero balance. The wing is completed by lightweight Carbon Fiber end plates.</div>

a perfect match for the Impreza and can be fitted with minimal modification to
